ACCACC

Our team will help you with any aspect of ACC and personal injury law.  We can represent you at Dispute Resolution Services, the District Court and in the High Court.

We are known for successfully representing clients with ACC claims; we can help you with claims, disputes, mediations, reviews and appeals.  This includes the following matters.

  • Lump Sum Payments and Independence Allowance Assessments
    • We can help you with lump sum payments or Independence Allowance Assessments.  This includes helping you lodge compensation claims, checking the ACC Specialist Reports assessing your disability percentage, referring you to experts for assessments and then considering the ultimate payout.

  • Weekly Compensation Claims and Assessments
    • We can help with claims for weekly compensation (both current and backdated) and also help advise on the correct calculation of weekly compensation.

  • Revocation of ACC Cover
    • If ACC is considering revoking or ceasing your ACC cover, we can advise you on steps to take. ACC may consider that your claim does not fit within the legislation, that the effects of your injury have ceased or that the injury was not as a result of an accident.

  • Ongoing ACC Entitlements and Rehabilitation Decisions
    • We can help where ACC is assessing you for rehabilitation or decide that you now have Vocational Independence.  We can refer you to an appropriate medical specialist for a second opinion and, if necessary, take the matter to review or appeal.

  • Surgery Costs Decisions
    • ACC is declining more claims for surgery costs, even though your claim may be covered.  We can help by referring you to a specialist and taking the matter to review if necessary.

  • Negotiation of Independent Rehabilitation Plans
    • If you are not happy with your Rehabilitation Plan we can help review and negotiate its terms with your and ACC.

  • Employer ACC Levies
    • If you are an employer, we can check your ACC levies to ensure they are correctly assessed and calculated.
